CLIFF TRAIL UPDATE
MAY 1, 2021 - OCTOBER 1, 2021: The first HALF MILE of Cliff Trail will be closed to hikers due to a construction project. The Town received a grant in 2020 to help us make the first half mile ADA accessible. The remainder of the trail is open, but accessing the trail must be done from the Recycling Center trail head.
PARK at the Town Office (263 Mountain Road) and walk up the path behind the building to access the trail entrance and exti on Community Drive.
There will be temporary signs and maps installed to help hikers with the changes while the work is being completed.
Please respect the work area and the Maine Conservation Corps crew that will be performing the work.

COVID-19 UPDATE: We ask that you use common sense when visiting our natural spaces. Appropriate social distancing is necessary to keep you and all others safe. Keep --- 6 FEET--- from others while enjoying outdoor spaces.
Wear masks in spots where people congregate.
Always have a Plan B! If the parking lot is full, chances are that the trail is full as well. Do not park along the roadway or block parking areas. This causes congestion and unsafe conditions for motorists, pedestrians and emergency vehicles.
