COVID-19 Return to Play & Programs Document

Keep ME & Harpswell Healthy

12/15/2020: Updated Return to Play & Programs Document for Winter 20/21

First and foremost, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. We have received questions from the community about how COVID-19 will change this year's Recreational programming. We know this pandemic has been stressful to many and recognize that exercising and participating in activities and programs can be a healthy way to cope with stress and connect with our wonderful community. After careful thought and planning, we are excited to let you know that we plan to resume youth programming while following CDC considerations to protect participants, families and our community.

Please know that our programming will look very different than it normally does. Please grant us patience and grace while we adapt to the new requirements and guidelines to make our programs as safe as possible.

We will be following the MSAD 75 risk designations when determining whether or not programs will run. If schools are in the green category programs will run. If schools are in the yellow or red category, programs will be canceled or put on hold until it is safe to return. There is a chance Cumberland County may be designated “yellow” while Sagadahoc County may be “green.” In this case we may follow the DECD Community Sport Guidelines rather than MSAD 75 guidelines out of an abundance of caution for our community members

We really look forward to seeing all of you in person again! If you have questions please don't hesitate to contact us with the info below.

Best,
