Ararat Youth Baseball plays in the Maine Cal Ripken Baseball League and offers youth baseball to children ages 9-12 from the towns of Topsham, Harpswell, Bowdoin and Bowdoinham. Our local league begins in mid/late April and runs through early June. Welcome to Ararat Nation! This is for the Minor and Major team ages (see below).
Registration for "Minors" and "Majors" Cal Ripken divisions will occur directly through the Ararat Baseball league. The town rec departments of Topsham, Harpswell, Bowdoin and Bowdoinham will continue to offer tee ball/ rookie baseball programs for children under the age of 9*. Players from our SAD 75 towns aged 9-12 (as of April 30, 2025) are permitted to sign up for Cal Ripken Baseball through the Ararat Youth Baseball website: https://www.araratyouthbaseball.com/
*If you have an 8 year old that you would like considered for playing minors please reach out via email to araratyouthbaseball@gmail.com for further information. Please keep in mind that safety is our number one priority, and we will need to have your child attend the mandatory assessment at the end of clinics. Other requirements are having played at the rookie level, as well as board approval after the assessment
2026 REGISTRATION IS LIVE!!!
Registration is now open for Ararat Youth Baseball and we’re excited to welcome players back to the fields this spring. Whether your player is just getting started or coming back for another season, our focus remains the same, development, fun, and building great teammates first.
All registered players will have access to winter clinics every Sunday in March at no added cost. A great chance to shake off the rust, get some swings in, and be ready when the snow finally melts.
Spots fill quickly each year, so we encourage families to register early.
Coach registration is now open as well. If you’re interested in helping on the field this season, we would love to have you involved.
