3/12/20: Our Spring Yoga classes have been postponed until at least 4/20 due to the rising health concerns of COVID-19. Please check back here for updates as we get closer to 4/20.   WINTER/SPRING 2020: Session starts on January 16*Please make sure we have an up to date email address on file for you. This is the best and easiest way for the instructor to reach you in case of cancellation for inclement weather.Yoga @ the Town Office with Harpswell Recreation and Body and Soul Yoga of HarpswellWe are offering Hatha Yoga for the Winter/Spring 2020 season. Learn to breathe, stretch gently to increase flexibility, relax more deeply, strengthen the body and improve balance. All levels are welcome. 3/13/20: You can still register for this program! Our recreation events are on hold until 4/20 at this time. We will be changing the start date of this program to April 29. If the district makes updates to their school use policies we will have to follow their lead. Thank you!Registration due by 4/9/20This clinic style learn-to-play program is provided by a partnership between Harpswell Recreation and HNPEA (Harpswell Neck Physical Education Association). Program is run on Wednesday mornings, 9 - 10 am for five weeks and is open to children in grades K - 5. All equipment is provided and a healthy snack will be provided. Dates: 4/15, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20This program is capped at 20 participants.

3/13/20: You can still register for this program! Our recreation events are on hold until 4/27 at this time. This program doesn't begin until after April vacation, so we are in the clear for now. If the district makes updates to their school use policies we will have to follow their lead. Thank you!Registration Due by 4/16/20Cross Country running is an exciting sport with lifelong fun and fitness benefits. This program offers training and conditioning for participants. Runners compete as a team but have a sense of individual performance and accomplishment.Running helps kids improve in other sports! Running off the field will help improve your child's aerobic conditioning on the field. Running also helps develop core and back strength, both of which play an important role in other activities.Plus, it's FUN!Practices are held weekly - Full schedule is available.
